Well the short story looks OK and I really feel its fine, but sadly I read the idea suggested in comments and it looks like a smart move and way tter solution then just one shot thing. Now I'm so interested to see how would relationship grows and different problem come between them.
She said light in the darkness, but in what way that light would manifest for sylvana. She did say she doesn't know if she can love her and is she(Caslyn) sure about it. It sure opens a lot of possibilities to go ether way.

Story is good but kinda short if you ask me. Still good don't get me wrong but feels like so much more was left out untold :/

Hmm very interesting story. It also gives good start for some heavy weight long story not just oneshot story.
I'm honestly surprise that story was not expanded upon to something larger. It could have show how this encounter would I pack both of them maybe even show how far she would be willing to show that Caslyn is her "light in her darkness". It also gives possability to be Sylvanas weakness, would she discard her when notice that, would she try to protect it, how far would be willing to go with it. So many potential... Really a shame that this little story was not expanded in to something even more bigger.
