Not really important once the thread sinks, but while the URL wording of your link is chapter 3, the actual url it links to from the thread is to chapter 2, leading to a moment's deja vu before I worked it out :D Are the codes for a previous part also? I didn't see any GB moments f' example, but it coulda been too subtle for me :)
Anyway, the story - Good chase descriptions, captured the running well. I kinda like the sound of a Hoar's Cult, but on sound only I'd be making a tragic misunderstanding. I think it's good how you worked the modern legal usage of the term into the story, in an almost legal setting (bounty hunters ain't so different from the watchmen types in this kind of setting I sometimes feel). I couldn't think of any way to do that.

I just realised that pretty much all of my exposure to the Forgotten Realms universe has come from fanfiction!

The description of her earlier odd party at a meal made me smile. Sounds like exactly the kind of strange PC mix I hear about from D&D players. It's funny because it's true. As a slice of life it works because it's realistic within the fantasy setting; you do get clowning types making light around campfires. Well done on avoiding defeat by this prompt!
