Poor Dax! Loved the darker background you decided to give him in this series; it's a bit of a reversal from your usual, but you're doing a great job with it. I'm anticipating seeing how Jak is going to get around to comforting his roommate without offending his pride. Not to mention finding out who's going to fall for who first (seems like it could go either way at this point).

Was kind of surprised that you decided to drop Razer's accent though. I guess I just got used to reading it in Talk to Me, and almost didn't realize who it was even after the name was mentioned. Guess it fits in more with the college AU right?


Anyways, still loving the hell out of this AU series, so I hope you've come to enjoy writing it as well. It really is revving up to be a great one, so keep up the always exceptionally wonderful work!



P.S. I'm not sure if you're into manga or not, but I'd really suggest taking a look at Komatta Toki ni wa Hoshi ni Kike! It's a shounen-ai series taking place in a high school dormitory that you might find very, very oddly familiar in some aspects...anyways, you can read it online at mangafox, so take a look at the first chapter if you've got the time. That should be enough to weird you out with a few coincidences.

Razer is awesome, by the by. Just needed to say that; I've finally found an incarnation I like. That's a rather nice image, him in the shower. And Erol's near split-personality jump? So cool to witness. He's so psychotic and you completely proved it with his rage/calm moment. Can't wait for Jak to rearrange his face... And poor Dax! *huggles Daxter* Actually, nevermind. I should let Jak cuddle him. He'll do a better job.

See? So excited, I'm jumping from one thing to the next and probably not even making sense. But this. Is. Awesome! And my boots will stay firmly in the closet for the time being. But, they're waiting, just in case.

Keep it up!!!! Dax needs to feel better after this and I need to see the cuteness it inspires!

Awwwwww... As bad as Dax's past in this AU was, Jak's protective streak is still giving me the warm fuzzies. XD And yes, Erol DOES need to finish getting his ass kicked up 'round his ears, doesn't he? *chuckles darkly*

lol @ Razer's entrance. X3 Well, it broke up the fight. I guess if Erol is beaten to a pulp too soon, you're gonna be short one antagonist too early. XP The author within approves of the move, but my Daxter fangirl wants retribution. XP Oh well. X3

You have no idea how happy I was to hear that this was going to be a long one. Very, very good start, and on an avenue you haven't taken before (Dax and Jak meeting for the first time). Like the AU you set up, the university names were a very nice touch, and definitely a fan of the relationship between the Jak and Daxter so far. Please do continue this, and don't hate on your first chapter; it was fantastic.


P.S. Sorry I've been procrastinating with my reviews lately (heading over to do chapter 2 of Keep Talking right now), but I will get to them all.

yellow, i just finsh reading this on fanfiction but the move to here when i ran out of jak/dax fanfic's [darn slow updating] and when i came on here i just happen to see you story on the top and i was like "yeah it on aff too" though after my fav jak/dax fanfic "All That Glitters" which was writen by you and but on here as well as ff you think i be able to figere out that you might have put it on here too. but the again i lack common sence ... anywho ilove your story and can't wait till the next chapter ^_^ oh and since your story i manged to get my friend hocked on to jak/dax i let her know you got a new story up too. so thank for not ending your alsome writing skill your the best ak/dax writer out their ^_^
