I love love love this adorable story and cannot WAIT for it's update. In fact this is one of my favorite stories in the JaD community. The outtakes made me lol. xD
Keep writing! I desperately wish to see the outcome of Dax's "shining moment." You led into it very fluidly, I felt that it wasn't even rushed.

I found this latest update while I was sick yesterday, so it was an awesome comfort and good read between all the naps I was taking, lol! I'm loving the warm fuzzies that Daxter's already getting, also how he's still adjusting to life with a football player. I don't really know what else to say right now, but this is pretty much my current fanfic obsession, it's just a joy to read, no matter how many times I do it XD Can't wait for what's next!

I've said it once and I'll say it again. Jak's a squirrel!!! And Taryn should totally find a way to kill someone with a breadstick. I want a graphic description of this so that I may emulate it if the need ever arises. I know my life; it will be meaningful at some point.

You're doing great, no matter what you think. And you were worried about how this chapter was going to turn out... Keep going!

roflmao Very eventful week for the boys, coming up. It'll be interesting to see how they cope. And how many other warm, fuzzy moments there'll be. ^w^

Oh darn you and your good stories. XD I'll have you know that my mind is full of imaginings and wondering where this story is going to go and what Erol's going to do to be an asshole next, when and how the boys are going to fall for each other...Augh I can't wait to read all this story. But yeah, I think I've figured out that I really like your writing style because you don't have to describe something or a feeling for an entire paragraph, you just say the right words in like, a sentence or two and the message hits home. It's very striking and I'm reading my own WIP J&D pieces again and again, trying to see if I can manage to have that same ability to make my writing pop.

Anyway, the chapter; I hope this isn't shadenfreude, but I somehow thoroughly enjoy seeing Erol be a complete creep, I'm wondering what his AU background is and how many times Jak has to beat his ass to get the message across(something tells me it won't be quite soon enough for poor Daxter)...I think it's just seeing how Jak absolutely defends Daxter whenever he's threatened that makes me love the conflict. I haven't seen too many fics where Erol goes after Daxter, but this is probably the best.
And Daxter's past...Well, lets just say I'd be a little freaked out by football players too, if that happened. Good build-up for it.
(Love how Jak wants to punch walls over it though. Protective Jak is the best Jak.)

Well I'll bother you next chapter then... Looking forward to it! Oh, also, the outtakes are a part of your awesomeness. Hilarious. <3

Zomg, usually I couldn't give two flying fucks (pardon the saying)about these school type stories, and I don't know if it's because it's J&D or because it's your writing (probably both), but I am LOVING this story. I love how the characters are worked in, too, especially Torn. :3 Hehe, staple gun. But holy hell psycho-saurus rex from the family pervertidae, WTF WAS THAT? O-o *hides in the cage with the ferret*. This one neeeeeeds updating. :D
