I read the newest chap. almost as soon as it was out but didn't get a chance to respond until now, even though I have already read it several times. I gotta say that, with all the foreshadowing you've thrown in, I could see this going in a number of directions and I can't wait to see how you develop it. I also love how the complexity of your storyline has grown and matured since, say, All That Glitters. Your inventiveness is amazing.

Can't wait for the next chapter! (And rest assured that, if it takes too long, I am not above begging as you have already seen!)

Two things.  When are we gonna see the first kiss?  Because I know that's gonna lead to some epic awkward, which always leads to sex (as per the rules of fanfiction/the internet).

And when are we gonna see Tess?  If Jak befriending him confused Daxter, Tess giving him attention is gonna give him an aneurysm, and that I wanna see.

I'm going to be snickering over Jak's panic-attack in the face of the cheer squad for a while. Daxter's right, he's a fake jock, not the least bit interested in looking. Not touching I can understand, but he's male and he didn't even look? Not that I'd really blame him from walking the other direction, away from the whore-core. Anyone who can do everything you just described is probably carrying more creepy crawlies than plague rats. (Who? Me? Biased? Never, why do you ask?) And I'm always willing to be helpful. I'm just glad my babbling worked out for you.

And Razer, sweetie, you should know better, so you can't complain about what you get. *cackles evilly*

Ok, being honest here, this is not a review, its a pleading: pleasepleasepleasePleasePleasePleasePLEASEPLEASEPLEASE I need more of this. I check back daily for a new chapter. I just love your stuff having re-read many times All That Glitters, Talk To Me, Keep Talking, etc. Now, I'm wearing the bits out re-reading and re-reading Room and Board. Just great! Of course, thank you for all that you've done so far in all your other stories, but I desperately hope you can manage to find the time to finish this one, please please please *echoes of please fading into a ring-modulated whimper...*

*le sigh* This makes me so happy. I have no idea why, but it does. It's about time Daxter started feeling good about himself, and that race was a good start. I don't think he's quite ready for life on a sports team, considering how he still tried panicked at the *thought* of people watching him screw up, but there's still that great burst of confidence for not only doing well, but having the people he (knowingly or unknowningly) looks up to. I can't wait for the game stuff, which is an accomplishment, trust me. Four years and I never cared this much about a Homecoming game, so congratuilations.

(And for the record, I think I'm going to start calling Phoenix 'Idiot-boy' on Razer's behalf. The thoughts are starting to bubble, toil, and cause trouble...)
