*scoops up the boys and snuggles all of them* Oh This chapter. Poor Daxter. If only he weren't so kickable.

I said it before and I'll say it again, this *points to the fic* is absolutely amazing. How many times have I read this part since we started talking about it? At the risk of sounding stalker-ish, we'll leave it at a lot and move on from there. After all this time, reading all the bits and pieces as they show up, this still makes me want to reread it all again. It's one of the things I go to when I'm bored and want to read instead of write. I reread a lot of novels, but there's only two other authors I consistently reach for. Even though I'm a part of the process, I am so terribly happy that you continue on with this the way that you do. And it makes me even happier to know you're enjoying this trip as well.

Also, the singing/dancing number? Pick a different tune. I only ever see that stupid frog from Looney Tunes and it makes me want to beat you with a broom.

.... *sniffles, then glomps Dax* Whoever "they" were, I hope they got everything they deserve, and then some. >(

Moving on, sexual tension, you say? I am intrigued. Most definitely. ^w^

Oh man, I wish getting a job was as easy as that. Lucky lucky Daxter lol. I wish someone would just throw a uniform at me and just skip the whole interview process.
And awesome chapter, things are really starting to move now! These boys, they are so adorable.
I totally stand with Jak on the spider issue though. Freaky little buggers.
And Daxter is afraid of Thunder then? Augggh I need more! Especially now that Jak is checking Daxter's ass out...

Oooooh I love this story. I've been reading it before I joined and made an account, sometime before December. Fav line was from Daxter with "Bad juju, Jak, very bad!" Juju what a word. And I would freak if I saw a spider like that too. And bizarrely my best mate is called Daxter and would handle one. Anyhu waiting on the next chapter, I like reading it in bed. Bedtime reading :)

Loving, loving, loving, loving, LOVING this story!

Honestly, this is shaping up to be one of your best works to date. The pacing is enough that we get some development each chapter without it feeling rushed. The characters are fleshed out well, even though this is an AU story, with each character's background needing reinventing. And you're still managing to sneak in inordinate amounts of fluff.

Especially enjoying the scenes where Dax thinks he's messed up (I guess I'm just evil and like to see him squirm? Or maybe it's because it usually leads to fluff?). Definitely fits his backstory in this series, as does the slowplaying when it comes to their relationship.


I surprised that you've been sitting on a chapter for this story for two years. Probably took back seat to all of your other work I guess?

Zomg... I think I might be related to Jak. Lemme check: nerdy/nice (wannabe) jock with a penchant for killing spiders in horrible, unnameable ways while screaming like a 5-year-old girl? Check, check, and checkitty-checkcheck. Also, DATASS. Yeah, I said it... god, I should not be allowed to review fanfiction when I'm sick.

And it sets in. The Attraction. Finally! XD The build-up of the relationship was great, but now it's going to get REALLY interesting. lol

Yay! A new chapter, wheee! Runs around in a tight circle on stumpy little legs shrieking, "New chapter, new chapter, new chapter!". Falls over from dizziness after a minute or so and lies there, eyes squinched tight, until the vertigo passes, then clambers up and wobbles off to read said new chapter.
