Been waiting for this! And it was well worth the wait!
Glad to see that not all of the sexual tension went out the window. As I've mentioned, I like the slow pace you've been building up with this story, although I also wouldn't mind if things sped up. Also, poor Dax. First abuse, and now the guy couldn't even get a bit of relief while he was in the system? Well, that does make it all the better when Jak gets to help him out though. Love that you managed to fit in otters into the story as well, now we just need one of them to combine the two somehow.
Great writing, as always. Hoping things heat up a bit more in the next installment, although the Christmas episode is probably still one or two chapters away. Were you planning on breaking the story into another part for the next semester, or keeping it all together?
Anyways, keep up the great work! Thanks for slogging on for your fans, since I'm sure writing these novel sized stories can't be too easy.

I wrote a review to this on my phone and for some reason the phone said it had posted it but when I look on the PC I don't see it anywhere...
Which means for the most part I'll have to re-read the chapter and re-post an actual review another day, because I can't remember 90% of what I wrote it.
The main thing I did write was about the scene that just happened, I personally found that to be an odd situation and I don't think I would ever do summat like that.

I've reverted back to my high school days of checking every 5 minutes to see if the fic I'm reading has updated. I love this! I haven't read or loved a fic like this in years! Update soon!

YES! It took 16 chapters but it came! Wonderful build to a scene that was both fluffy and steamy! If you give us a REAL kiss or a drunken "encounter" next ch. I will worship you! CANNOT WAIT FOR UPDATE!!!!

*snicker* Oh my god, if Daxter feels like he just had sex because of a non-touchy mutual masturbation session, what the hell is he going to do when he *actually* gets laid?
You did a great job. You had the right combination of awkward tension and giddy relaxation, and it was totally worth the wait to get this far. The whole build-up has been very, well, not smooth for the characters, but definitely organic. It feels right. You've done a very good job. The neko approves. *paw print*
BTW, I liked the outtake--I see Razer staring at the wall like some giant cat, ears twitching ever once in a while. And I can totally see Razer's ears twitching whenever Jak and Daxter have a quasi-intimate moment. Of course, as time moves on, I know he'd just get more irritated with that particular reaction.

I agree with Grimreaperchibi, everything about this chapter just really...WORKS. There was just enough eagerness balanced with just the right amount of nervous, "what if he totally thinks I'm a freak" hesitancy in both of them. I was wondering how part of the UST would get resolved without them just jumping into something, and this was the answer! This is a fantastic chapter and now one of my very favorites, not just because there's "sexytimes" in it, but just their entire communications and everything leading up to it and how little by little, they're opening up to each other on this secret but mutual crush thing. And how Jak can obviously read everything about Dax and now just where to push a little and where to give him a bit of space because of the kid's history/anxiety.
I also have to say that I had to literally stop reading, open up google, and LOOK to see if this turkey/stuffing flavored soda mentioned was a real thing.
I was not prepared for this knowledge. (WHYYYYY IS THAT A THING) Hopefully Jinx will be merciful at this party. oy. XD Also, yay, more Party hijinks!
