Nicely done. I like the overall tone of this piece - you dove into Jak's mind very well.

This was so sweet, I don't even know what to say. I've spent a while thinking about it, too, and I still got nothing a week later. It's just {insert happy, appreciative, warm-gooey-fuzzy feeling adjective here}. That should cover it.

My language skills fail me; I am ashamed.

And you got my brain chewing on yet another idea (or three). You and Robin are gonna kill me here with new ideas. By all means, this shouldn't stop you for doing what you're doing. I can't wait to see what comes for you mind next.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, I love this ficlet. It's short but powerful. Jak's psyche is a deep thing, with all he's been through (as a child being sent to the past and then later with what happens to him as an older teen) and this is a great peek into the memories he had to have had when he was first taken from Damas and sent to Sandover.

I also like how he dreams of BOTH his friends. It's a sweet touch. Very nice!
