Hello! I read the chapters of Remember Reach, and even though I've actually never played the game (although I love Halo), i really enjoyed this story. I hope you continue, cause it's really awesome!

WOW! I must say, that after reading your story I can't believe that this is your first time because this is AWESOME! Your writing is fluent and concise and some official canon inconsistencies aside, the plot is really engaging. I know it sounds shallow since barely 4 chapters are out but even those 4 chapters have been enough to convince me to follow this wonderful story of yours! Update soon!

On a side note though, I forgot to mention how your story is not just a mindless PWP (porn without plot) but actually uses and harnesses the sex scenes to further develop the characters emotional and mental distress, in addition to the plot of course. So kudos on your bravery and ingenuity and PLEASE update soon!

As with the previous chapters, this one's a real page-turner, so to speak. I can't wait for chapter 5. I'm hooked purely on the story.

Hi. I'm not much for commenting, but I have to say I really enjoyed this story. I was actually skeptical at first that the storytelling possibilities needed even exist in Halo, but you've done a great job with the source material, and in making memorable characters. You've really been highlighting the humanity of the Spartans, and that's very compelling in a setting where they're usually treated as just faceless instruments of death.
I am aware of tFoR and the other novels. They're not bad at all, and I see from the references in the story that you know them too; but in the games I always found the Spartans terribly undercharacterised. But here you've taken them and run with a faceless, nameless character, turning her into someone with some emotional depth and an interesting personality.
So, in short, well done, and I hope to read the continuation of this story! I note also that actual sex has been rather limited in the story, and: that's good. You've made an interesting quirk to do with Sangheili biology and have expanded a bit more on the religious aspect of the Covenant, in order to have the sex make sense. Keep it up, don't feel compelled to throw in more if it's not right for the plot, and please, keep writing!
