*gasp* Oh my, what a cliffhanger! I have to say, it's actually a talent of yours to make the insane so compelling! Sai is absolutely awesome, even if he should be saving to buy himself a spine instead of, I dunno, an epic mount or something. I like that Bane is scolded by Altrun for his creepy rapetastic ways, and that he doesn't walk out unpunished. I really can't wait to see how he reacts, especially since I'm strongly hoping he reacts realistically (as he has so far!). Anyway, you're an awesome writer. Keep going, and don't be discouraged, you'll find a beta in no time, you just have to keep asking every chapter (I'd offer to do it myself, but I get the feeling I'd yell at you for the MPreg thing when you finally introduce it. It's the biologist in me!).

Hmmm, interesting story. Can't wait to see where it goes. I enjoyed the rampant creepiness of the whole thing, how Bane subtly kept Sai from finding love, making sure that he was just as lonely as him. It's a very realistically portrayed psychological disorder and I'm actually really impressed! You manage to make the reader feel almost sympathetic to the mad guy. My only concern is that you'll do a sappy "love prevails" thing and Bane and Sai get together in the end. That would be disappointing. But you got me hooked!

Very interesting; can't wait to see where this goes! And I'd be willing to be a beta reader if you'd like; I think my biggest weakness might be run-on sentences...
