Even thought i read it the moment it came out, i havent reviewed for a longer time. Finally this story comes to an end, and it couldnt have been better! If my english wasnt so bad, i would tell your in detail how awesome your writing skills are and how great the words you choose describe what happens. Thank you so much for sharing this great story with us!

I totally should have reviewed this sooner than this, but oh well. This story was a really great experience for me. Never thought too much about anthro as a kink before this, but now I'm totally addicted to ottsel smut--something I'm actually kinda thankful for. Between you and Amaronith, my inner fangirl hasn't slept for about the last three months (that's a good thing, btw). You've also managed to get me back into writing my own fluff...though I don't think it's nearly as hot as anything you've written.

This had some really great pacing, drawing out the action and thus the tension. Maybe I'm just sheltered (or doing something wrong), but I honestly never thought a single night of sex could be worthy of five fairly long chapters. It's one of the few stories that's had me absolutely riveted since I started reading. Actually, most of your work is like that. I almost can't get enough and find myself constantly looking back when I've got the time to spare. ...Okay, that sounded stalker-ish, but the point is that I love your stories and look forward to whatever comes next.

You know, I was getting a little worried about you there. I think this was your longest break yet between J&D chapter updates. I'm guessing it's because school started up again though? Anyways, on with the review:

Tess, that lucky lass! I really liked how you gave the story from another person's point of view this time around; a bit of a change from the norm. Also, starting with fluff and ending mid-lemon was another nice alteration. The cut-off after Jak brought Daxter to the edge near the beginning was just evil though ;). And Tess's reactions, especially her thoughts (and feelings) at the end, were just priceless. Seems like you managed to fuse a potential outtake into the story.

All in all, that was a very nice little mini-series. Glad you decided to do more Ottsel Dax stuff after Hush, and props for giving us an extra chapter and doing both of the options you offered.


Looking forward to more Sparkle and Shine, and have a happy Halloween (and Thanksgiving if we don't get the chance)!
