To read this story I had to use Google Translate because my English is really bad... But it didn't spoil my enjoyment of reading. If Google didn't twist everything, I get the impression that it is really well written. I'd spent all of yesterday's til two in the morning reading those long chapters, and I was skipping the boring parts (not about Maenaz) anyway. The action is captivating and you cannot tear yourself away. Maenaz himself is a really interesting character, a fallen hero turned villain. I love a story where the main character is angry. Xardas interests me a little less, maybe because he doesn't appear as often as Maenaz and he doesn't have so many nice adventures. Still, I can't wait for these two to meet.
But it was Samael who stole my heart. I love his sense of humor and applaud his idea of ​​becoming a god. I know, I know, it will probably turn out in the end that the whole "nice" impression he made on me was just a game, and when it comes down to it, he won't hesitate to turn against Maenaz. After all, it's the devil and so on. But so far I like the fact that he is honest in his own way and tries to fulfill the contract and sometimes helps Maenaz. He's really cool and I hope he doesn't end badly, preferably he doesn't become Maenaz's enemy at all... although I know it's rather inevitable as Maenaz is going to get good again over time and probably won't want to serve anymore Samael.
All in all, this story is great and I can't wait to see what happens next. I only have one comment... If I'm not mistaken, you published Part 18 in 2011. WHERE ARE YOU FOR SO MUCH TIME AND WILL YOU COME BACK?!

Yes! A mature fanfic with a male and romantically involved hero of Neverwinter as savior of Waterdeep! There are way to few stories of that sort. Thank you very much!

But please: don't stop now. I want to see Maenaz und Aribeth reunited, because I'm curious, how (and if ;-)) you've planned to do it.

And to Maenaz: sure, he is not most "sympathetic" hero in the world and most people wouldn't look forward to meet him in a dark alley... but that sort of character is my favourite! xD

So, keep up the good work! I hope to see some updates in the near future, because I'm allready hooked!

I am liking this so far, especially how you seem to be combining the first game (and its expansions) and NWN2. I hope that Maenez would eventually reunite with Aribeth, as it happens in the official HotU storyline (though hopefully you can do it better than Bioware did!). That might also quench the embers of vengeance.
