Ahahah omg Malton being deliberately obtuse with the elf was just brilliant. Hee hee and intimidating Hawke with his monster cock... love it! I have never really been hot for orcs (I think we all know where my preference lies) but I gotta admit there is something about Mal that I am digging (huge green schlong maybe? lol) ...too bad he probably likes boys ;)

I LOVE the part where Mal is musing about the nature of luck. It was funny and poignant all at once. He's so afraid to even try for his dream, in case it fails. Love him.

Mmmm 'Varin's a sexy beast with his leet fighting skillz and his towering temper. But I'm still in love with Mal.

If it were me, I'd probably change it because knowing the name didn't match would drive me nuts. But if it doesn't bother YOU, I think you can leave as is.

Hello, I wasn’t quite sure how to go about replying to your review (I r noob -.-)

thank you for reviewing first off, I love your work, ^-^:: and I suppose you're right I should review stories I read if I'd like some feedback.

I realize not everyone will like the story I’ve written and in truth I myself don’t favour the version of Roku I have in the story anymore, I’ve re-written lost in translation so many times; and his character has changed a lot since I started, hes not one to go down without a fight. >w< but I was lazy and perhaps over zealous to have my story posted, even when I know Roku has changed.

I appreciate the feed back greatly, and thank you for the advice. hope my spelling and run on sentences weren’t too bad XD

I think perhaps I might work some more on the story, its clear to me now that I shouldn’t post something I myself don’t completely love, I need to polish it.

Wow. Reading the whole thing was a blast; you've made me care and reminisce about that blasted Hinterlands.

Throughout the first four chapters I was wondering if you write smut as adeptly as you do, uh, non-smut. From what little (oh so little) goodies you've given us I'd have to say that FUCK YES, you do. You are cruel and evil for stopping there, I hate you :<

I love the little things in the story, the references to other quests too. And you've made me laugh out loud several times, there's just something so entertaining about the way you've written Malton. "Test the freshness," indeed.

I do wonder though what really happened that very first night Malton and Gilvarin met. Plus the manipulative bastard in me is wondering if Gil's really as drunk as he seems.

And so I made an AFF account just to review your story. Thank you for sharing this, I'm really curious as to where you'll bring Mal and Gil.

Anyway, tl;dr: MOAR, GOOD SIR!

I love this story. Its hilarious and it makes me thing and... I keep coming back to it.

As for changing 'Varin's name... I could go either way on that? Depends on how much work you'd feel up to doing and how much it would bug your conscience though...

Anyway. Thank you for making me laugh and chuckle once more.

Now that I'm done picking apart your English, I can say I loved it!
Its pretty awesome how you're using characters from the game, so I'm torn on changing the name even though we've all become accustomed to 'Gilvarin'. I'm not sure how I managed to overlook that before now though.
But we finally get to the fun part and stop like that :x
I'm betting we'll never actually get to see any man lovin' at this point, but I still want mooore.
How about we forget the gold if you get the next part out within a few weeks? ;)

Brilliant, as always. I hope that's not the last we see of Hawke and Amberglade, they are still going to be prize arseholes, aren't they? :( I love those two...
