Bioshock86 has a made a very valid point. I have reached a similar conclusion on my own after starting, deleting, and re-writing the beginning of chapter two no fewer than four times now because it sucks so badly. Plus, the more I think about promised yuri element, the more I realize it wont make much sense considering the characters and situations involved. Clearly, more thought needs to go into the plot on my part; as it is now, I'm basically uploading a rough draft for everyone to read, and that's never good. I hate it when other fan-fic authors do that, so I’ll be damned if I keep doing it.
What does all this mean for the future of Metroid: Rebirth? It means I've decided to write story out in its entirety, get myself a beta reader, use the suggestions I receive form them to edit it, then post the completed, more coherent story. I can't tell you how long this will take, though I hope to have it all done by the beginning of May, which is when I’ll be begin my annual ramp-up for NaNoWriMo.
I'd like to apologize to my fans for the delay. Hopefully the final result will be well worth it. If not, well, I just had a new flame-shield installed, feel free to put them to the test. Until then.

Well, do not take this as flaming, I am not meaning it as such. You have a very interesting that would make for an amazing story but it's marred by one little problem, you need to work on the grammer. Also, do not be afraid to get really creative and describe everything. As it seems rushed and not even read back over. If you can fix those little errors you will have a great story. Keep at it and I can't wait to read what happens next.

Bravo, can't wait for the next installment. Interesting that the prologue was further in the story while chapter one was where it all started. Can't wait for more lemony goodness...

Chapter two is up, everyone!
Time for Q&A:
Q: When is the yuri going to come?
A: Within the next 3 chapters, methinks. To say more would be a spoiler. You'll note I haven’t even introduced any other female characters yet. And no, dreams don’t count.
Q: And the humanoid Metroid child being born?
A: 'Bout the same time as the Yuri.
Q: Dude man when are you going to finish this story man.
A: According to the plot I have in my head, the complete story should take around seven chapters, six of which are flashback leading to the events in the prolog. This, of course, is subject to change.
Q: I'm curious to what species got her pregnant. I'm at least 60% confident it was a Metroid
A: Metroid... but it had help.
Keep the reviews coming guys! I'll be opening a homepage to keep everyone updated on my progress shortly! See you next Chapter!
