Well then... *waving hand at face* That was some pretty good stuff! I've never played WoW before, but this game gave me a good visual (both landscape wise and chacher wise). This was a really great story that I'm super happy I found (It was recommend by someone on here, don't remember who). I don't usually read fiction that isn't completely original, but this was absolutely fantastic and well written. Just... *happy sigh* Good stuff all around.

I absolutely -LOVE- this story.
As well as making my own balls hurt, it made my heart ache as well!
I think the combination of romance and flat out sex worked out quite well.
Well enough to make me read it multiple times. <3

I LOVED this story. The characters were contextually believable, well introduced, and well developed. The story progressed at a good rate, and moments where little was happening plot-wise were skillfully filled with necessary character development and wonderful humor. There was a great balance between the sex and the rest of the story, and both the sexual and non-sexual scenes were written in extremely evocative, powerful ways. Would definitely recommend, will definitely read again.

P.S. Oddly enough, I found this story at random when browsing through older stories in the WoW category. Just tonight though, I reviewed a newly updated story, and saw another review right before mine. The writer clearly had a strong grasp of the language, and I was intrigued. I clicked on the name, and, Lo and behold, I saw that you had written this story which I had read a few days ago, and forgotten to review.

Probably the best story in this site by far. I just wanted to say that you're my favourite author and that I keep coming back to re-read your work every so often because it's really just that good. I hope that at some point in the future you'll consider doing something like this again. The characters are amazing, your attention to detail is commendable and your narrative is utterly flawless. Truly, I don't know who's more likeable, Tanner or Daelen. They're both very realistic characters, and it shows that you're refreshingly familiar with WoW lore. And even the minor characters, with the comparatively little attention they get, are unforgettable as well. I could go on about all the things I enjoyed about this story, but let's just sum it up with a single world: Perfect.

Lovely.
I think Tanner's a rogue. Mages don't wear leather boots!

Bad before the good, that way you have tasty things to get rid of the bitter taste (unless we're talking other certain bitter tastes :3 ).
Kaldorei vs Kaeldorei. Minor thing, but distracting enough when I read through it.
A few more minor things pop up, some odd sentence things here and there. I'm unsure if you just want the good things only, or want any minor critique (I know some writers prefer to just hear what you enjoyed and little else, because they view it as once they've posted the work, they're not really interested in going back, that it's a finished piece as is). So I'll keep it at this for now and move on to what every writer loves to hear:
I adored this story. Seriously.
Despite my surprise that it was so long (rather than broken up into chapters), it was neither tedious nor irritating to scroll through. I LOVE when that happens because I don't see that often; usually if it's not split up, it tends to be more of a 'I must slog through this to get to the good bits, and then the end.' But such was not the case: so thank you for posting an enjoyable read.
A few things I really enjoyed in particular:
The focus on the differences between the n'elfs and humans. Socially, culturally, physically, etc. Contrast between characters (particularly characters in any kind of relationship) is one of my kinks, you could say, and you did well in emphasizing the differences without making it completely blatant or repetitive. In particular, this tickled me: when he commented that he found out humans had ears after all, just tiny ones. Big reminder of some of the vast physical differences that often get overlooked.
The background flavor of the story was another personal favourite. I'm not always on the hunt for plot with my smut (although I always love smut with my plot!), so when I stumble over a story with plot that's done well AND contains the more ho-hum details (which most people ignore because they think it detracts rather than enriches)... Well, that's even better! I'm 'ferring to things such as mention of minor towns, ports, etc. You really fleshed out the story without getting bogged down in detail.
My favourite bit out of it all:
His eyes widened in certain disbelief as he stared at the human.
“Did you swallow it?” Daelen asked, shocked and incredulous
(I actually laughed out loud, envisioning Daelan's innocent shock--and the delay right before he realized what happened was just as priceless.)
