Great story. Sometimes Daxie needs to know he's still a sexy beast. Even if he's an ottsel.
Ya should do a story that shows how Daxie looses the fur and Jak is all too happy to see his buddy back to his normal elf/human self again. *wink*

Wow. I was wondering what you've been up to lately, but damn...I think this was your hottest sex scene to date.
Very nice second chapter, although I was surprised to see it, and even more surprised when it contained more lemony goodness than the first chapter. Really though, your writing here was amazing, very well done. There's just something that's appealing about Dax being teased like that (I guess Jak really took to it after their camping trip eh?), and I have to admit that I was blown away by the whole thing. I mean, from beginning to end it was all detailed, realistic action and emotions.
Glad to hear that you're working on the sequel, and nearly done at that. It's really nice to see something from you again though, I guess school has been keeping you busy?
Well, thank you kindly for that upper, and keep up the fantastic work!

That . . . it just . . . I fangasmed soooo fucking hard. Your writing is nothing less than superb.
(Would it make you feel better if I pointed out that humans are animals? Therefore, bestiality includes any, and everything we do under the sheets/in the office/in the men's bathroom on the third floor. It's all good, as long as it's consensual, baby! So, bring on the naked ottsel lovin'!)

Once again, your writing tickles my fancy. You have such a fluid way of writing. I could picture the movements perfectly in my head.
"Begging already seemed to be occurring, did it not?" - Jak, you're such an asshole XD
"Great care was taken to keep sharp canines out of the business, at least as much as possible." - At lest Daxter doesn't believe in 'an eye for an eye'. That could have been painful.
The snuggling at the end made me melt! I wish I had an ottsel to keep me company . . .
If you aren't planning any more parts, I won't ask for any more. Instead, I'll ask for just more J&D in general.

Wonderfully done. It was a strange mixture of cute and melancholy, which was well done despite it being different from your usual (if Talk to Me is any indication). I really enjoyed it (perhaps it's because I don't mind furry fiction?), mainly because of Daxter's characterization. Seeing the normally arrogant and loud ottsel/boy frustrated and a little depressed was a nice change of pace. Jak's comforting personality was also rendered near perfectly, and the story really seemed to flow well.
I can definitely see how this connects to Fun and Games, and even the characterization of the duo seems to match up between the two stories.
I'm kinda sad to hear that you're not going to continue on this path though. A follow up chapter, or epilogue, where the two are reunited again after both the events of Fun and Games and Hush would probably turn out nicely.

This story put a very large, rather stupid-looking grin on my face.
Heh.
That's about all I can say 'cause you fried my neurons.

I LOVE this pairing! Not just because I like the idea that the love between them has no bounds, but because I like seeing an author who is willing to go outside the norm and try something different. The writing style was perfect for the situation and I will be eagerly looking forward to the mentioned prequel, BTW loved the PETA skit.

That was pretty amazing, Robin. I knew what it was about before I read it, but I was still surprised. I think it works really nicely. The only other fic I know of that accomplished this coupling in a similarly tasteful was was Jemisard's "Ghost."

Your writing really is flawless as far as mistakes (not having any) are concerned, so that's always good, and it does have a certain dreamlike sense about it. I feel bad for Dax, though! Pleading like that. I like that Jak was more confident than Dax, and to be honest, I think he was pretty brave in that situation. It's hard to be the confident one when you're all perfect and sexy.
And kudos on the title! It's pretty. I like the way you incorporate your titles into your work. That's something I want to do, too. Be careful what you write, because I'm sure every bit of it is going to influence me. >.< (I hope that's a good thing)
:p Must have made for a good birthday present.
