I'm in awe. Seriously.
It's rare that I sink my eyes into such a well-written and detailed story. I really don't know what else to say because I'm stunned (in a good way!) All the characters are so well-explained and in-depth; the story flows so well into each scene; Seth is an intriguing character, and Dante is a dick (personally the way you write him with his honesty...makes me like him 0_0) Ahem, well, I have so much more to read. Good luck on the future chapters!

Hello again! It's been well over a year since I first read this. So I have to admit that few characters other than the main ones still stand out in my memory. I am thrilled to see that you updated it because in my mind the story was about to hit its climax when you took this break. But with a story as good as this one, it's worth it to re-read some of the parts I've forgotten as a refresher.

Some things I liked about this Chapter; "Paranoia Five!" That cracked me up. And,
“Oooh, and now the story gets interesting.” Dante grinned. “So who was the other woman? Wait, let me guess, the housekeeper? (That part was like a tribute to Arnold, well done! lol!)

Thank you for reminding me what I love about this story in this recent Chapter. Keep up the good work!

I just wanted to give a BIIIIIIG hug to all those who took the time to read this story; for loving the story and characters. Everyone from Seth to Paranormal 5 to, of course, Dante, are dear to me. For them to get love and support, that means a lot! <3

Technically speaking, this story is already *complete*. However, there were (and still are) many things I have to flesh out. I'll update again so stay tuuuuuuuned. XD

Hello, first of all I'd like to say that this is one hell of a story that you've written, and it makes me want to read all the rest of your works too. I've been reading this for two days because I can't stop myself, lol. I really like how you are "showing" the actions and feelings of the characters rather than "telling", there is never a dull moment, or any unnecessary descriptions and imagery. I'm the type who really dislike seeing OCs as main characters, as they are usually Mary Sues, or overshadows the canon characters, or make the canon characters behave in OOC ways. However I'm pleasantly surprised that none of the above applies to this story, Seth is a very developed character and even the paranormal five are fleshed out characters. They've really grown on me.

Your characterisation of Dante is excellent, while its a bit different to how I see Dante I really enjoyed your version of him. Some aspects of the story really amused me. Like people in the funhouse intruding on their little sex romp by managing to find the door to the next section. Or that Dante always just manages to miss the vital clues such as when Enzo is dropping by with information (4 men 5 women found dead near the park), and having Enzo spill coffee on the questionaire. And even the implied Seth's Father x Sparda.

Some of the sex scenes disturbed me, but I think that was the intention so consider yourself sucessful. The werewolf!Seth x Dante scene really freaked me out. Funnily enough I think I could have handled it better if Dante was devil triggered in that scene lol.

The first chapter/prologue didn't make a lot of sense to me until I read all the chapters and then went back and read it again. Let me guess, since I like playing guessing games XD Damsel figures out everything (she's the brightest of the bunch) and paranormal five takes out werewolf!Seth, while Dante finishes him off. (I'm probably way off haha)

Definately please keep updating and finish the story! This was originally on page 3 of the DMC section, and when I couldn't find it there today I had to look up your username. I originally thought you had removed it from the site. So you can understand my joy when I realised that you've updated. I'm really glad that I got to see Seth and Dante make up and clear some of the misunderstandings between them.

I'm impressed by this story. You don't see alot of novel like fan-fics. I have no other words to describe how good this story is.
Hopefully its not over? I wonder whats going to happen to Seth now and if Dante might have to 'Hunt' him...

I'm only about three chapters in but I just wanted to comment and say, "Bravo!" Your Dante is well done, the introduced characters are remarkable. Seth is an effeminate enigma.

I was a bit of a wuss when Devil May Cry first came out in 2001 and didn't buy it, I played a demo and thought it was too scary for me. =p I had sort of forgotten about it until I stumbled upon the DMC anime and it reeled me back in.

So then I got the idea to come to this site and try to find a few fanfics on the genre. I'll admit I went to the anime section at first before I realized this would still be categorized under game. There were a lot of interesting one-shots but yours is the first full length story I've found that seems to have any merit.

I was a bit confused by your prologue. I don't want you to have to give anything away to soon and I didn't read through all of your reviews so I don't know if you already answered this. The monster that seems to be the focal point is very reminiscent of Seth. While I've written character death myself in the past, it has never been between the two established main characters. Most stories I read have some sort of happy ending, I hope this one will as well. Okay, off to read some more!
