It was indeed a lovely story, I enjoyed it quite a bit. The coupling surprised me but I actually kind of like the idea. Wonderfully written :) I agree that I would think of Lorelei as more of a male (Though possibly a sort of 'genderless' being or someone who can chose their gender? Who knows.)

I started reading this out of sheer curiosity, as it was a challenge fic, and my brain nearly exploded when I realized the pairing. However, I read through the fic, and, to my surprise, found that I liked it. Your descriptions of Lorelei were suitably ethereal, and the smut didn't seem to stick out so much as Ion's need to be complete, and it was really wonderfully done. I just felt that the paragraphs were too long, but that's just because my style of writing favors short paragraphs ^^;; overall, well done!

That was really lovely, and graphic without being crass. I really enjoyed it. Please, write more!

An interesting idea. And yes, Lorelei is, to me, definitely male. Besides that, it was nice and well-written. Thank you for the response to the challenge. Now, I have my stuff to work on; but I'm hoping to finish one of the three off as soon as I can.
