Writing was a little annoying (cliches everywhere :P "a million words" "a million emotions"), but otherwise satisfying.
Personally, I disliked Tales of the Abyss's story. The beginning was pretty mediocre (protagonist and obvious love interest stranded in the middle on nowhere for no apparent reason... then some vague mention of a war and blah blah blah where's the next boss already?), and the ending was just odd (why were they waiting for him? It was just too much melodramatic).
But it was still a good game, and I did enjoy Tear and Luke, despite everything.
I'd say, you ended this nicely here. While it would be fun to read a story where Luke discovers Tear's strange... kinks, I think it would be better worth your time to pursue a different story. Or wait for Disgaea 3 to be translated (assuming you have a PS3 by then... I don't, that's for sure :P).

I've been reading all your stories, and I have to say that they're all great! When will you complete this? And when will you let us read your stories that are in development (Ar tonelico, Odin Sphere, etc.)?

I knew your work was familiar!!
I thank you, kind sir! For not only making a heartfelt and delightful fic, but also adding another non-Yaoi/Yuri Tales of the Abyss fic!
If you take the time to check mine as well, believe me, you will not be disappointed.

I love everything about your fic. You should really continue this.
A lot of people love it. I know a lot people are shy to comment, but
they would love it if you continued on the LXT fic. There aren't many around.

I love you as well. Please allow me to bear your children.
I did notice a couple grammatical errors here and there, but that it to be expected and did not take away from the story. I loved how you stuck in the random humor, such as the part with the maid and the play on Tear's saying at the end of battle. I also liked the emotion you portrayed, so it wasn't just random fucking.
I would also love for you to continue, but I do not agree with the idea of having a third participant. I've always felt there was a special purity in Luke and Tear's love for each other, and if you throw another person in there it kinda spoils it.
I also wanted to mention my own ideas about the ending. I agree with you for the most part, but I don't think Lorelei reconstructed Luke as any kind of favor. He's an entity not a person, so he's probably more concerned with the whole than he is with a single person. I figure he probably isn't very sympathetic to the human condition, and it wouldn't occur to him to save Luke because it would be "nice." If you care to read it, this is my theory:
During the battle with Van, Tear sings the Grand Fonic Hymn in order to make Lorelei active inside Van. I don't remember exactly what was said about it, but if someone sings the Grand Fonic Hymn and has the Key of Lorelei then they can control Lorelei in a sense, right? But they never explain exactly how that happens. Well, Tear was there, she sang the Hymn, and while she wasn't holding the Key of Lorelei, Luke had it and it was very close by. Though Tear sang with the goal of defeating Van, there's no doubt that Luke's impending doom was on her mind. I believe that when she sang Lorelei sensed her overwhelming desire to have Luke live, so he granted that wish as soon as he was free and able, not as a favor but because a descendant of Yulia asked him to. Unfortunately, the Big Bang tore Luke's fonons completely apart, so it took a while to reconstruct him.
Well, that's my theory. Sorry to take up space in your reviews section, but I've been really wanting to share it wish someone. If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to know what you think of it.
