For a first attempt, this is actually pretty good. If you could go into more detailed descriptions when to comes to action, setting and particularly, character appearance that would help immensely in mental-imaging the story. Pacing might help, too. Executing patience when it comes to meeting, foreplay, "action" and resolution can help build more tension for the reader. I'm interested in what further chapters hold. Write-on!
