She's a piece of wood? Grammar and punctuation mistakes everywhere—the story isn't even a paragraph long and yet the entire thing manages to skip around all over the place without any clear look into what's going on. 1/5.

You've got a few problems here.
"" Ahhh" Laura let a terrified scream as she turned around."
Usually when someone is screaming, the end punctuation mark of their quote is an exclamation point.
You also misspelled the title. "I'm board" means you're a piece of wood.
Keep going though. Practice makes perfect.
