Fabulous. I've always loved these two, and the fluidity and poetic nature of your writing just totally made my day. You made Sydney more mysterious and elegant than I've ever read, but then he was so fragile at the end. Silly Ashley. He needs to just give up on everything, rescue Sydney and go have wonderful mind-fuckery sex all over the place! Good stuff!

Possibly the coolest lines every written in any VS fic anywhere. But yes, I agree with you. This is the only way I see this pairing working out in-game (unless you count that "missing week" as in-game). I'm usually more of a Sydney/Hardin person myself, but I really liked the mood you built up in this fic. It seems like anything could be possible in that green memory world.

Your author's note made me laugh. =D Yes, I have seen his hands. That is why I personally could never really write VS fic. It's both hot and gross, so I avoid it alltogether. But you win.
