Alright, so I totally reviewed this on FF.net /ages/ but it's so good that I just have to leave another :D I've read the manga that this idea was taken from and personally? I like your version better - a /lot/ better. Sure Axel was a bit on the goofy side but that's how dogs are and it's interesting to see how you incorporated the pet's blind, absolute love for its owner/mate into something that humans can relate to. Brilliant, really.
As for Roxas, I'd say that he was super spot-on. It's somewhat disappointing when you read the summary for a story and two lines into it they're like 'iluvu!' and spend the rest of the time rolling around but here there's drama! Tension! Romance! Very refreshing :D
So, I'm pretty sure I've just said again what I did before but - I loved this! Good job and please please /please/ don't stop writing!

Wow, that was an awesome end to the fic - I was hoping that by consummating the love, it meant Axel was human for life, but it kept occuring to me that that would make things difficult... Still, WONDERFUL. Really well-written, fantastic lemon, and Axel hasn't ceased making me giggle the whole way through. I loved this, enormously!

That was so outstanding! And you own a large part of my fan girl heart, right now. I loved the way you wrote them, and Doggy!Axel was just to perfectly characterized. I think I grinned so much while reading this, my face hurts! I laughed so loud when Roxas dumped Axel into the pool that they had to come check on me. And the ending was delightful! It is all around a great story! Brilliantly done!

BEST RoxasXAxel STORY EVER!!!! XD TOTALLY AWESOME! OMG SO SWEET! It was wonderfully written and there was so much love between them and I just dunno what else to say! GREAT STORY! you rock!

This story is soooooooo good muhahahah!!!! I have read the manga Man's Best Friend haha. and I am enjoying this story w/ my two favorite pairings out of kingdom hearts YOU ROCK!!

this story was sooooooo awesome!!! I loved it!! I just wish it were longer. Though there is something I'm still wondering about. What will happen when Roxas's parents get home?!?!?
