Somehow, I doubt it is Yae that has dishonored Sae or their village.
I could feel her despair and terror, but also the contempt she held for the entire village. There is no bravery to be had when one throws their own children into the jaws of a beast to appease it. It will always demand more. The same goes for human monsters.
I digress, it was beautiful. The pace was perfect for something so horrible, like time slowing down just to torment her more. Five stars.

It’s convincing and it really sounds like her they never went to much into her feelings just pieces.

Such a sad story...I really feel like going out and getting the Fatal Frame games now.
I really feel for Sae. She's obviously broken without her sister, and the fate awaiting her is horrible. On the other hand, I can't help but pity her, that she feels obligated to sacrifice herself like that. I also felt some anger at her father and the priests, that they would throw her to the darkness without even knowing if it'll do any good. Reminds of me of the Silent Hill movie, and how those fanatics sacrificed Alessa, and would have sacrificed Sharon if given the chance.
I wasn't bothered by the undertones. Twins share a fascinating bond. And in stories like this, it's interesting to explore just how deep those bonds sometimes go.
As usual, your style of writing is incredible. I've never played the games, and yet I could picture everything that was happening with crystal clarity. Great job!

Wow... This is the story, that mine shall never be. I realize that now... It's poetic in every since of the word, and drips off the pages with unbriddled sorrow. In short--Absoultely beautiful!
