Nice chapter, good to see what's happened to some of the gang, though Mirage seems to have lost her... I don't know, edge?

I gotta wonder how Shadow's been doing in all that time though. I mean, surely he hasn't just settled in to married life and been domesticated, right?

Speaking of domestic matters, why is Sonic late with the rent? He's dating an elite government agent-cum-top-class jewel thief! Rouge is notin a situation where she lacks for money, and selfish as she may (have?) be(en), I find it unlikely that she would not have at least offered to help Sonic out.

Yes, A nice start to the 5th installment, But wouldnt it be sort of a star wars moment if Midnight and Knuckles met?

Midnight: Knuckles, I...am your father
Knuckles:.....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

What if Knuckles doesnt know that Mirage is his mother and falls in love with her?....Aaaaaah! Scary but could happen....

Ivan, don't forget... not long after World War II, the Hydrogen bomb was created. And it is said that it is 750 times more powerful than the atomic bomb. When the Americans tested it in the Atlantic, fishermen 90 miles away suffered from severe radiation burns.

Anyway, about the story... I don't see where you're going with it, Harley. Like Ivan said, it's just one cyborg echidna and a fat scientist whom the Sonic team have defeated numerous times. I guess there's only one way to find out... read on.

Awesome, I loved Midnight and am glad he's not dead, but I wonder what'll happen to him and everyone else now. Does he die again? =(

Well, that was certainly an interesting first chapter. Your formating and spelling are as great as usual, and you still give the in depth feeling to the story. I anticipate more chapters with great interest.
