Ahh, I have neglected this story!! Curse you, work! I don't even know where to begin (as I just read, I don't know, 4 chapters in a row?).
Well, first of all - I am STILL loving this story! And I don't think you're beating a dead horse. I, personally, think it's adorable when Jin's all "Hwoarang's here for meeee~!" But, fangirlish tendencies aside, the situation hasn't really been resolved yet, so in my opinion, they would HAVE to still be feeling the same emotions.
I've said it before, but I'll say it again - I LOVE your fight scenes! The thunderstorm is a nice touch, because that's always a nice backdrop to dramatic type scenes. Also, I totally wasn't expecting the end to that. XD Cracked me up. Devil's comment ("Lame!") about how Jin was talking to Hwoarang also made me laugh. When he's not being an evil bastard, Devil is sort of funny. Heh. And I really like how Jin's thoughts seem to be leading towards liking Hwoarang in THAT way. It's very gradual and realistic in its course, and not like, 'He's hot, zomg I like Hwoarang now!"
Looking forward to seeing what kind of trouble happens on their little trip!

Oh, Hwoarang. Travelling around Korea, leaving a trail of broken hearts. ^_^; I gotta say though, I'm not sure why, but I didn't expect Moon to develop feelings for Hwoarang... although it was maybe more of a comfort, 'I feel really bad' right now kind of thing. But depending on the conversations Hwoarang was thinking about, it could go either way, I guess. I'm glad our impulsive martial artist didn't take her up on the invite. Way to be a gentleman, Hwoarang! ^_^ I always like the interaction between Hwoarang and Angel, and this time was no exception - she really knows how to get Hwoarang worked up, doesn't she? XD I was happy to see Hwoarang healing Hitch, but it's too bad he can't stick around for a goodybe.. the prospect of seeing Hitch getting "teary" amuses me. I wonder how Moon and Doyon will take it. Like I said before, I really like seeing Hwoarang around these guys, but he does have an important task and a reunion to get to. Will we finally see Jin and Hwoarang meet up? How exciting. ^_^
Heh, I'm glad that you enjoy my long reviews. I find that, if I really like a fic, I can't stop going on about it during the review. ^_^; Well, looking forward to the next update!

Yet another amazing chapter that makes my mouth water for more!! I really enjoyed the way you brought out the differences between Angel/Jun/Hwoarang....Hwoarang isnt a good guy and never will be, at least, not completely. He did things his way...better late than never right? The crash course was brilliant and angels words to Hwoarang were intense and so perfectly placed. I am really looking forward to the meeting at last...what a build up!!

You're very welcome. It was really fun checking on the story and finding so many chapters; almost like a surprise present or something, haha. When I stop to think about it, most of the Tekken fics I've read don't have that many fight scenes (outside of that one crucial fight that makes or breaks thing, anyhow). Maybe it's because the game is purely about fighting, so the fics turn out to be not about fighting as much as the emotions? Just a thought. But like I said, I really like your fight scenes, and they work very well in conveying the emotions.
:hugs: I'm afraid the offer may just be an offer, as I REALLY can't draw well, like I said before. XD I'm envious of the people who can actually take the images from their head and put it onto a canvas of some sort. And your writing is great, so there's no worries there. ^_^ If only we could just give up something like that to be able to draw well, huh? XD But yeah, Hwoarang in that getup? HOT. Heh.
I really liked this chapter, because I honestly forgot that, in a gang situation, of course there would be rival gangs. I was just enjoying the adventures of Hwoarang being on his old turf and playing nice with others, and this chapter was a sort of wake up call - Hey, Hwoarang, you can't be here forever, and there are other evils to worry about besides Devil. Like gangs, and your buddies dying from ordinary old things such as bullets. It's easy to forgot about that stuff when you're worrying about something that seems so much bigger. I am really glad that Hitch is going to be okay, though, and that Hwoarang could at least harness his power enough to stave off impending death until the paramedics got there. Hopefully he'll take all of this power stuff more seriously from now on, if only to better help his friends out of these kinds of situations. That's a great motivator, I guess. XD Can't wait to see how Moon takes all of this.
Looking forward to your next update!

Wow! A multi chapter (from my point of view >_> ) update! Sorry I've been away for so long, exams have a way of making me drop off the face of the planet. Hope you don't think I've abandoned you! Now, this is either going to be a very long update, what with a few chapters that I read in one sitting, or a short one, because I can't remember what I wanted to say throughout all of the chapters. ^_^;
First off, I like the way you do the fighting scenes, like Jin's fight with Ogre. Great descriptions, and I liked how you worked in the names of his actual moves, and the feelings that went with the fight. It also turns out that I really am starting to like Hitch! I didn't think I would, but this whole thing with Moon and Sun (oh man, I just got the connection, haha) really shows his human side, and I love Hwoarang's interaction with him and the whole gang. Can't blame Hwoarang for falling into his familiar routines when he's in such a twisted situation. I'm really anxious to see what happens with Rora, and that funny feeling Hwoarang got from him. I almost want Hwo to stay with them indefinitely; that's how much I'm starting to like the little scenario at Doyon's place! Though, of course, I DO want to see Jin and Hwoarang's reunion. ^_^ Also? The thought of Angel being behind the scenes and "angrily healing his lungs with every puff of the cancer stick" amuses the hell out of me. XD
I still really adore the way you describe the flying. It's just very lovely. And I would NOT have expected Angel to let Hwoarang freefall for awhile. XD Oh, Hwoarang. You need to work on your trust issues. Hehe. I like the new addition to the physical aspects of Hwoarang's angel getup, and Hwoarang's reaction to it. Guess he's used to the black and buckles and what not. I'd also like to say, darn you for putting ideas for fanart into my head!! >_< The idea of drawing Hwoarang with his pure white wings and Jin with his black wings has been bouncing around in my head since Hwo first acquired them. I just can't draw worth crap, otherwise I totally would draw it and scan it to send to you. Ah well. Maybe someone with more talent will take it up.
As always, great job, and looking forward to your next update! ^_^

another fantastic chapter! Angel is back...hot damn, we havent seen her since Tekken Tag...and before that as a brief window reflection in Tekken2. So, are you going to play it off as Kazumi, Kazuyas mother...and her original power...? Hmmm, I am intrigued!!
Please update soon! Pretty please!!!

another perfect chapter. I really enjoy the way you have brought Hwoarangs gangster life into the lime light...gives you a true understanding to the seedy workings of what his life had been like. Hitch, Moon and Sun are great characters...very reflective of Hwoarangs own different personalities...hard and soft, yet forced to follow the necessity life dictates. Please update soon! I am hooked!

I'm loving the interesting way Hwoarang is learning his powers, as well as the parallels you're throwing in with each chapter. The Devil is growing more hungry, the angel is growing more aware, and slowly, they're drawing toward each other. I love it so far.

Merci, I am honoured to have been some kind of crazy influence guiding you to the Tekken World. It is a rare thing to see a writer with real skill in the dying world of Tekken Yaoi and I am pleased to find your story so inviting and so well written.
Doyon is a very well described and realistic original character, a vision of someone with strength and a definate reminder to Hwoarang of what the life of crime would have rewarded him with, even if that ideal is changing inside the Blood Talon.
I really enjoyed the description of Hwoarang sitting back and having a short break, giving him some time to smoke and go into that introspective place when you get a nice stone on. I can see the plot thickening wonderfully as our dear Korean youth begins to understand his mission...and the complications that come with this shift in feeling for Jin. This chapter is certainly building the anticipation for the crucial moment of the re-meeting of the Blood Talon and our favorite tortured demonic japanese youth.
It does seem that great minds think alike. I have already begun the last story in the Sword Maker Trilogy and we are seeing some interesting things happening to Hwoarang due to the Devil Genes infection. I will begin posting that one soon, as I am already in Chapter 9...but yet to post the end of the second story, "The First Crack in the Metal". Lets face it, Hwoarang just looks good with a set of wings. hehehehe.
What stands out most as I read each new chapter and look forward to the next, is how you managed to make Jun such a vital influence even in death. It is a difficult thing to make her feel real and this gift that binds Jun to Hwoarang will ultimately bind Hwoarang to Jin. Beautifully done.
