I would have liked to see more of what happened during the years before her mother was killed. The story moved very fast.

Sad to hear your not writing. If you ever get into writing again a continuation would be great.
I understand it might be a hard story to continue considering the ending, perhaps the next chapter could be about something that happened between Mary and Arkham during this chapter. This chapter spans over years just choose an important event that happened during that time. (birthday or something of the like)
The next chapter should be like that.....a sequal wouldn't work as Mary left
