Thanks guys for all the feedback...to *wanderaddict*--yes Daniel will meet Henry,(in fact next chappie!) and expect a little love triangle between Daniel, Melanie and Henry--admist all the horror, running and screaming, they will find time for the angst and complicated feelings. Expect the chapter containing Walter/Henry (Daniel will be present as well) to be incrediably graphic and hard to read...since I deal with exactly what "The Receiver" has been going through during the last two years. Make sure you guys tell me about how I portray the canon characters...if they are IC or not. I did a ton of research on events, timelines, and even if that SH newspaper had a real reporter working for it. I really want to be sure I get it right! Thanks again!

There is so much going on, but you've really kept the balance and the pace. I am thoroughly enjoying Daniel's rapid descent into madness. I think you've captured that quite well. And I definitely enjoy the bathroom scenes all too much. I am such a sick and twisted individual. O_O

The voyeur scene was quite intense in itself, too. Definitely erotic and ugly at the same time, knowing Walter had a hand in it.

You've really captured the mood in this fic -- so many turns into the unknown. I love it! Everything about it! And I've never even played the games! *laughs* Okay, making James run around while I'm screaming my head off doesn't count... but yeah.

Keep up the wonderful work, lovie. You are doing a fantastic job with you OC's and the plot idea that has taken over your demented lil' mind. ;)

Ooh, I don't know what to say. But I really should know by now to not read your stories right before I'm going to bed. They always creep me out.

the way you write is really good, Without using to much words (some authors over describe things) you manage to make me understand just how stressful it must be for poor Daniel.

The example you used when Daniel can't stay away from the bedroom, with the old toy you ignore until it's taken away, then you can't rest until you have it again. That example was so right.

The sentence "If he died inside this cage, he would at least leave a decent corpse" got me laughing out loud. If I was Daniel, that would be the least of my worries. But sometimes when I watch CSI and they show pics of some corpse, the I would think "Aww, poor bastard dying looking like that".

I think you managed to describe Daniel's way to madness very good. Not only is just being alone unable to do anything drives me crazy, but to also have to stand demon dolls, weird creatures and a crazy man, well, it would be weird if he Didn't go mad.

This was a long chapter and it's was only part 1! It will be hard to wait for the next part, but I'm sure it will be worth it.

Wow, this story is just intense. It completely captures the bizarre and addictive quality of the games that keeps you right on the edge of your seat the entire time. I hope to read more soon.
