This story’s gotten a lot of negative reviews, but don’t pay any attention to them. The way you write the characters and setting is very much in tune with the DMC world, just a much more twisted and darker version. You keep Dante and Vergil’s personality there but with your own spin. The only thing I can comment on, and I mean this in a constructive way, is that it’s very slow moving, so think about kicking it up a little faster, okay? Anyhow, great job!

Wow Cam, you really know how to attrack the flamers no matter where your at. Although, reading your reviews I will say, I'm not so sure its bragging when you say you can put two sentences together LOL. Who reported by the way?

Either way while I'm sad to see that youve somewhat switched around on fandoms AND IGNORED YOUR DBZ STORIES **putting HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE emphasis on that you'll notice** it's refreshing to see a new input in this fandom. I could have told it was you by the first two paragraphs. You always have that certain style to your writing that it always gives you way no matter the alias you go by.

Beautiful story so far by the way. A very interesting way to look at the dmc characters. Please continue with this AND your other stories ok?

Oh, get over yourself. All that talk about us being grateful about your mad writing skillz is really pathetic and kind of funny. Try to deflate that overinflated ego of yours, because no matter what you believe, you're NOT Nature's gift to DMC fanfiction readers. There are authors who are far better than you, without bragging about their tallent and originality. They don't have to, after all, unlike you, both are obvious in the stories they write.

I have said all that I need to say, so I shall follow mina's example and say "Bye bye!" to you. Of course, you can keep spewing expletives at me and mina (and vivi), but that's kind of lame, don't you think? Not to mention bad-mannered. After all, I never allowed myself to call you names.

Jeezz, gerry. Simmer down there pal. It's just a videogame fanfiction based on a series of fairly fun games with cheesy dialogue laid throughout. It isn't like this is some important theological debate. Somehow, Solstice made a DMC story into a readable and enjoyable, well written story. And really, did Solstice even claim she was the best writer here? The level of your arrogance is quite transparent. Face it. Vivi is a fucktard, plain and simple. "sux??" And no...I didn't report to the mods. Now go play somewhere else...

Anon, maybe you find it hard to believe that three different people may hold the same opinion, and you would like to think we're one and the same person, but I'd disappoint you, we aren't. As it is, we all hold the same opinion concerning this fanfic that Vivi managed to express it so well with a single word: "sux" I would also like to add that this fic is an unsult to all Vergil fans. There are quite a few of us out there, so maybe both the author and you should prepare to get more negative reviews.

Indeed, I missed the part about the AU. My mistake, and I would have apologised for it, had it not been for Anon's condescending behaviour. I think he/she needs to do some growing up, if he/she gets so painfully worked up over the fact that people actually may NOT hold the same opinion as his/her. As it is, in the light of Anon's (and not to mention Cloud's behaviour) I think I'll just roll my eyes and laugh. Indeed kiddies, grow up.

As for being the same person, I find it rather amusing that two people, who obviously are cultured and educated enough to write the same way decided to post a review to this, hm, fic. I will not comment on vivi, since it's kinda obvious that we tend to differ in our way of expressing our opinion.

I will not reply to any further comments, since I really have better things to do with my time (like, for example, reading good DMC fanfictions) than argue with immature readers over a sucky fic.

Love your story. It's really interesting! I wouldn't have even began to think of this concept, so you get some extra kudos for that. Damn, that just made me hungry.

I actually read the first chapter a couple of days ago, but I didn't review due to 'technical difficulties'. I just got my Internet back and low and behold, your story is updated. I was happy. ;3 And I thought this was an interesting twist, so I figured I should make up for my lack of previous review-age.

I can't wait to see how this turns out, so I'll keep an eye on it!

Also, gerry-person...character bashing? Can't you read what's going on? No one's bashing Vergil, it's just how the story is playing out. If bashing were going on here, the story would go, "Because Vergil sucks ass and no one liked him anyway." So yeah, wake up and read the text. :D

I agree with gerry that the author is bashing Vergil. And for that matter, an AU warning would have been good. I don't read AUs, and I wouldn't have wasted my time reading this as well, had it been properly labelled.
