A very great story.
prehaps the greastest series in the sonic section...no...
The BEST SERIES in the whole GAME section sounds more like it....
but I will admit....
I agree with Lizzie, as far as Espio and Mirage's concern you sure are spending a whole lot of time on them. you've kinda forgotten about the main cast ya?

also you keep claiming Ashura as megamonical and insane but so far I havent really seen him do anything to make those names seem true.....unless your definition for insane is much different than mine....

but mostly all I've seen is Espio and mirage with thier story, I'd really like for you too get us up-to-date on the other characters and such

i love your story, all 46 chapters so far. I cant really point out anything that could be improved upon. i cnt wiat for your next chapter to come out i have saved all of them so far to my hard drive

i highly enjoyed these latest updates. and as for the knuckles/mirage thing, i would of been fine with it.

Wow! A friend of mine reccommended this story to me, and I'm glad she finally convinced me to read it! Although it took me about a month to read from the first one to the current installment, it was totally worth it! At the moment of reading the first few chapters of the first one, I was totally addicted! You made the story very believeable, the relationships, the reactions of the characters, everything! There were a few things I didn't like, and things that were VERY illogical. Like Sonic for instance, Sonic can be short-tempered, but I seriously doubt that he would go overboard and rape Amy. Other than that, the story went extremely great!

Now for the second one; totally kicked ass! I totally LOVED the baby! *Snuggles Eclipse* AW! HOW CUTE! Yet again, everything was believeable. The second one was really tragic, with Shadow tortured and tested on. It really made me shed some tears. It was really romantic when Amy came to Shadow's aid. Also, you did a very stupendous job in actually taking the time to make a backround for Amy, as not many people do. And it was great to see Sonic get along with Amy, after the whole 'flower shop incident.' Another factor that had me on the edge of my seat was Shadow's hallucination, you really had me thinking that he actually killed Amy. Even with all of the good factors, I didn't like what you did with Sonic. Sonic would never be a cutter, this too was very illogical. From what I can see, you seem to have an extreme dislike of Sonic.

Now for the third; so far, I haven't had much interest in it. I think you've been focusing a little too much on Espio and Mirage. You've made their relationship very intriging, but you've put a little too many chapters on them. It's starting to get a little (I'd hate to say this..) repetitive and boring to read.

Ok, I need to get going. So overall, the "A Rose and a Thorn" series is definitely one of the best Sonic fanfics ever made! Actually, this story is one of the best stories ever! It puts Hollywood to shame. I'm looking forward to the next installment! Bye-bye!

Mirage+Knuckles? Eww.

Regarding the kissing problem... Yes, people turn their heads slightly when they kiss, and they do look like they're trying to 'eat each others faces.' But having a bigass horn right in the middle of your face doesn't make it easy to kiss, even if he turns his head. If his horn was on his forehead, then it would be reasonable. But his horn is right in the MIDDLE of his face. Chapter 10 score= 3.5 out of 5. Btw funkman, I'm controversial all right, but I'm no idiot. -hits funkman with sledge hammer- I warned you! Don't fuck with me!

Seeing a Knuckles/Mirage pairing would've been quite interesting. Espio/Mirage grabs your attention too. Don't listen to dm, he's a controversial idiot. There hasn't been a 'head-spinning' event yet, but knowing you guys, I'm sure there will be one soon. Until then, I'm still waiting....patiently, this time. Later!

Wow I cant belive that I actualy have time to finally wright a review for this story. That said I would like to thank you for your dedication to your fic. It is an oddity in the fan fic circle. I like the fact that you made the intamicy of Espio and Mirage so wrought with real emotions like fear, dought, and the threat of pain.
I also enjoyed the reality of Mirage and Espio's first time. However I do have one consern, it's that I've noticed that you're focus right now is on your orig. character. I only ark that you don't abandon the orig. cast.

You guys always seem to keep me coming back for more. Maybe I'm easily entertained, or maybe it's because this story is the oppressor here. Whatever the case, I still want more! Later!
