Well that was interesting. Now i've thought of something else. If Ashura has the emeralds and goes super(if he even can), but keeps the emeralds with him(where do they go afterwards, anyway?), could it be possible for Shadow to use their power and also go Super? Simular to what Shadow and Sonic do in SA2:Battle;Final? And, how does Eclipse play into all of this?? Will he be the downfall of Ashura somehow?
Yet again I ask, what of the Super Emeralds??
Yet again I ask, what of the Super Emeralds??

damn! it took awhile but i finally caught up. what happened to shadow at GUN headquarters was really sadistic and messed up, but i'm glad he escaped with his sanity intact. what happened to sonic was wrong, but i'm glad that he escaped and made up with everyone. perhaps he'll go back to being a hero? i wonder what's really up with ashura. is he insane? Mirage is an intersting character and her relationship with Espio is intriguing. i look forward to the next chapter.

This chapter didn't push me nor pull me. But I've got to be patient, this is only the beginning. Later on is when the real judging will commence. As for now, the story is pretty decent. One more thing, dm can't get any kind of award that has to do with intelligence, a sack of potatoes is smarter than dm! I'm just kidding dm! Don't kill me dm! Please! I'm only kidding with you! NOOOOO!

Wow. Now one, not two. But three Sonic - related fanfictions in a row, that don't suck.
What do I mean by 'don't suck'? Well, let's see - in my experience, a lot of Sonic related fanfiction usually won't have a story/plot compelling enough to make you want to read past the prologue in the first chapter. And in the case of adult oriented ones such as this, the premise is either a good one shot or a crappily thought out sexual fantasy that would be best kept behind closed doors.
But yours...have broken away from that. ARAAT 1 had a plot that instantly pulled you in, with developments and plot twists that put you on the edge of your seat. Hell, I'd be lying if I didn't say I wasn't checking this site every day during the first story to see if you had updated - it was that good.
And ARAAT 2? You might have needed to read the first story, but I think you could instantly jump in and appreciate all the crazy shit that you had going down. Including that surreal chapter that featured Shadow's psychotic hallucination. :D
And finally, we now have this. I've scanned through some of the previous reviews from ARAAT 2 and some of these, and it seems as if a bunch of people are already saying that it's just not as good.
Oh well, too bad for them. I think they're missing out on something great. Especially given the immense effort you've put into developing one of the original characters in this story. I absolutely - love - Mirage. Her abilities, her personality, even her curious little speech quirks that come from speaking a totally different language altogether.
She's definitely one of the more developed and thought out OCs - usually you run across a bunch of them with powers that easily rival/surpass that of an established characters to the point where they're perfect in every way. And while I will say that she does have power that can easily knock the wind out of Shadow, there's one thing that separates her from all the rest:
She's not happy about it. The way you have her constantly shifting between loyalities is an excellent touch. Draining Shadow's power, but hiding away from Ashura? Brilliant.
And I can easily say that if some other person had this same idea, they probably would have had her go in one direction altogether.
And I was able to get all this from the first few chapters alone, which only makes me wonder how much more you'll develop this very promising character in future installments.
I'll finish it off with that. I have such a bad tendency to gush that it's ridiculous.
But once again, I am thoroughly enjoying this story for what it is and can't wait for the next update.

I hope there's going to be some stuff relating to Sonic and Rouge, especially after you brought them back together at the end of the last fic. Also, in case you never noticed, I left a review in your last fic asking why Omega was never present either time in the hospital with everyone else. Would you please answer me if you read this review? Thanks.
