The twists in Bayonetta's magic have indeed taken a troubling turn. There is love between brother and sister, and there is that which might be considered incest. Bayonetta's magic let Ryu transfer Dragon Essence to the women he loves, but afterward? It can be passed onto only those who pull the heartstrings of lust or secret longing.
Such as it was that Ayane needed Hayate. To give her love in a carnal way and closure in a much-needed one too.
Indeed it might give to semi-siblings love, but Ryu also knew that anything could go in regards to the scattershot spreading of Dragon Essence from woman-to-man. It's always the more "forbidden fruit" who end up getting called to the guys, since it's not usually their "prime girlfriend."
Of course, should Bayonetta find the disturbances of all this troubling as well, not expecting this? The twist with Ayane and Hayate might be what brings her and Jeanne to Hayabusa and the others, since Bayonetta knows she went from She Who Saves Ninja to She Who Has Much To Answer For.
Ryu would have to admit since she saw Tina get pulled to Zack, that was a tip-off it's not a usual thing. If Hayate was deep inside Ayane's heart, then her calling to him was from a yearning for love.
You handled it very tastefully and very tactfully, Tycho. Now all that's left is a certain Umbra Witch to bring some Karmic Crazy Glue--for she has to put all the pieces back together in this broken situation....

Very well done. I'm surprised that you held off from including a sibling threesome in ch 61. Please tell me that there will be more than 2 pairs of sisters in that conference room with Ryu and Hayate in ch 62.

Fun little chapter. Not my favorite but it did advance the story and we didn't have to wait like a year for it.
Not sure Ayane would have a problem with it considering everything else that has taken place in the story. But what's going on with Ryu and Tina now? Didn't Bass just approve of her and Ryu being together and wanting some grandkids? I'm just not very fond of the Zack/Tina pairing. So I guess the Dragon Essence goes beyond just having a strong emotional connection or "being in love" with someone as it was originally implied. Or are we looking at it wrong?
Not sure Ayane would have a problem with it considering everything else that has taken place in the story. But what's going on with Ryu and Tina now? So I just noticed something odd...
Tycho's original pairings (Ch. 20-33): HitomixEliot, LeifangxJannLee, KokoroxBrad, ChristiexBayman, LisaxHayate, and finally NikixZack
Transferring the Dragon Essence didn't work with HitomixEliot, LeifangxJannLee, KokoroxBrad,LisaxHayate and they had to switch partners (Ryu seems to be exempt from this since he's the source).
I can see why it worked with Leon but how did Christie transfer the dragon essence to Bayman given the prior example of original pairings failures? Shouldn't Bayman get it from another girl following the pattern?
Also, NikixZack... how are you going to tackle Niki getting the Dragon Essence? With Eliot?
You also made a reference to Zack liking Tina in the past... will you extend that to Hitomi liking Ein (Hayate). Throwing in Hitomi while Hayate is occupied with Ayane and Kasumi is kinda interesting.

It was a gutsy move, but Zack would have been the only member of the DOA group to have enough liquidity to aid Helena in her gamble. Niki didn't like it, but Zack had cards to play:
1) He knew Ryu Hayabusa was involved.
2) It was sex based, and Ryu was the super-ninja superstud.
3) The value of the Roses was great once Ryu joined, so if Helena was going to take them over, now was the time before it got too high for anyone to get a part of.
4) He and Niki owed Ryu, and when it came to it, Zack knew smart money was on Ryu, not against Ryu.
5) It made for good Karma, and a gambler and his Lady Luck needed as much as could be gotten.
And that made for a grand slam that meant a big payout in many different ways:
Cash proceeds from the takeover and Rumble Royale PPV meant Zack's bet-the-works gamble paid off.
Getting some from Tina (and Aisha bringing Niki around) meant Zack and his Lady Luck could be two new talented faces in the next run of the Rumble Roses XXX.
And with Aisha smoothing things in, it seems like it's gonna be big goings on--but Zack needs to remember, with his stake in the business, he's on a performance-based review just about every time. As long as he can make the audience root for him and get them to loosen up, he'll do just fine. Ryu's not bad, but sometimes you have to be willing to lighten up and enjoy what you do. Zack's the goofy guy who loves what he does, and it works for him.
Which meant things were looking up big time--though the onus of Tina's Mom's passing was lifted when Dixie gave Bass his new lease on life.
Though the film of Christie's egg and Bayman's sperm playing "chicken" and Helena's confirmation of her own pregnancy (her second with Ryu) the main rule is: If two people with the Dragon Essence were to actively want to have a child, they will. This way they're not doing things by halves--and no unwanted pregnancies.
Though this DOES now beg a question...is AYANE the one to give her half-brother the Dragon Essence? A LOT Of speculation here:) If so, what would be the barriers for the coupling? Fujiko invoked a little guilt in Hayate (who had a bit of a twinge for his half-sis), so if it was just for a reminder of Ayane, what would happen for the real deal?
And would Ayane feel guilty about the semi-incest? (Bayonetta really must be a wicked Umbra Witch--and likes hentairules.net as well:P)

Still, Mass, it was Ryu, not Zack, who Bass gave the blessing to join the family with. And who knows if in the future Tina might ask Ryu? She HAD spent 10 months of intense bonding with Ryu when she helped Lisa find out Ryu's limits. And at that point, she hadn't been serious about Zack then.

I honestly hope you are not planning on repeating the whole Ninja Roses XXX tournament again except with Zack. Still I must congratulate you on getting 200 reviews. So now thanks to Bayonetta, crack pairings are going to be showing up. I take it now Hayate will be sleeping with one or both of his sisters. It's not something I can approve of but there are worse hookups I can think up of that can occur.
Another baby on the way?! Is Ryu Hayabusa planning to having a baby in every continent?!
On a positive note,I must say that I can accept the foursome Zack had but wow he is a trooper because friends with benefits is not something I can do especially since I know who she is sleeping with and the guy is one I will be seeing him quite often.
Ryu doesn't need Tina anymore. He has five women to take care of and Zack obviously likes her way more than he does.

Great chapter,(60) one of the best and not to sound cheesy with something like best sex scene ever but that Tina and Zack is definitely in my top 5. Great chemistry and use of dialog between the two, it was a nice throwback to the early Tina sex scenes, showing sexual athleticism and using provocative dirty talk.
And I’m all for Zack being the new male contender, he fits nicely in the situation and again as said he is a good match with Tina, not just like pairing or love interest but to add mix to the story progress and sex of course.
