As a fan of the Archie Comic series, and one who also writes along their storylines, I have to say this a very well done piece of work! ^_^
Unlike most tales I see relating to the series, you dive into a portion of the story that was, shall we say, 'cut out'. I love a story continuing from a certain portion of it all, but to make a story in the middle of one that has already been done is great in itself. To do so on during this portion of the series (along with one of my favorite couples) is also a feat in itself.
The level of detail you put into it makes up for the short chapters. Even though they seem short (I’m basing this off my own story lengths), it doesn't rush through. Instead, it allows you to take it in at your own pace and picture what is going on.
All in all, very well done! Anything based around the series this good is always a fav of mine. Keep it up and I hope to see the next chapter soon!

I like where your going with this, it sounds like a good idea. And though your chapters are short compared to others, they don't feel rushed which is a nice change from evryone throwing out whatever they can. And I have a question, I stopped reading the comics after they dropped the Knuckles series, so is he like Hyper Knuckles or some such in this?
Also, I can never take vibrating beds seriously. They always make me think of that heart bed in Sims Hot Date :P
