Wow, this chapter made me...cry. But I love it. Any story that can actually tug at my heartstrings like that is a terrifically written story. I like the plot you have written for this chapter (no wait, forget the chapter, the entire story is wonderful) and I can't wait for the next.

Good, good. One of my favorite stories yet. Well... aside from the original. You really put a lot of thought into this story didn't you? Heh, whatever... anyway, continue.

Thats sad. I think Shadow would have lasted a little longer when he was fighting off G.U.N. but thats me. Anyways, I hope he finds a way out and gets that son of a bastard back for taking Eclipse. :P

Jesus... That really sent shivers down my spine!

But, a question. In this chapter, Shadow mentions that his friends will save him. Now clearly, Sonic would want to, but won't because he is afraid of the reaction he would recieve from Shadow, because of Shadow's insistence to do this himself. It is thse conflicting ideas in the story which makes me wonder, will Sonic have a change of heart and try to find Shadow, or will he not, and potentially leave Shadow to die? And, with Eclipse in the middle of all this, will Amy's 'part dementia' escalate to a height where she would want to commit suicide?

I must say, this is wonderful work. The angst in this story is so think, I could probably cut a donut in it with a knife.

The thing that attracts me to the ARAAT series is that the characters are behaving somewhat similarly to the way they would in their series. This gives the story a nice sense of realism. Shadow can't control himself, but still has a soft side. Amy's cute, but still the mallet-head we know and love. Sonic's ego is inflated at times, but he still cares. The realism is amazing.

I don't work in the Sonic section, but if I did, I'd be taking ideas from you guys easily. This is one hell of a story, and there's no rate at which you guys can update that will satisfy my want to read more of this excellent story. Bravissimo!

Awsome! horrable pain scenes are my favorites!well..second to sex scenes! To be honest I would hope it gets worse, cuz I guess ima horrable person. Anyway enough about me and onto about your story! shadow probably made a big mistake by going alone. but for whatever reason I Didnt think that was going to be a problem for him. But now its proved even ultamate life-forms have limitations. something ele I like.. the direction your makeing GUN go.. ya see I have the game 'Shadow the hedgehog' and for whatever reason they changed GUN from being the Darker feeling military group of Sonic Adventure 2 to a buncha guys who are a bunch of good guys who were just acting out of fear of Black Doom (the bad guy of 'Shadow the hedgehog' for anyone who doesnt happen to know.). Hell Even there leader who goes by 'gun commander' Is a fool and is under the impression that it was shadow' fault everone died on ark. anyways point im trying to make here. Im glad you didnt go with what GUN seemes to have became in recent games. Thanks for the fun chapter!

Chilling? Nope, just funny, I'm a bastard about this sort of thing. The physical torture you gave Shadow made me blink and breathe Somewhat faster, but what actually counted was counted was the psycological damage. Pain can be gotten over, scars from beign reduced to a box of goodies that says 'Help yourselves!' won't fully close.
For me, the most amusing thing here was the younger scientist.

All amusement aside, I can be serious.

It seems that you two have most of the audience basking in your series...and rightfully so. You've built an incredible story, and people admit to have been inspired by your work, myself included. I think the biggest reason why I love this pice of work is that neither of you express desire to compete. It would be a simple thing for someone to take a great work and let it go to their head(s). If you went there, then I fail to see where and when. Instead of going all arrogant, your keeping an idea of a collective community (Most Intelligent review awards especially).

As always, Respectfully yours,

Great chapter. Very interesting and quite eye opening. Not as bad as I originally thought it might be (I was ready to squirm.) I'm really looking foward to the next chapter.

Another brilliant chapter, as always. How strong Shadow's mind and tolerance is truly shown here. Also for Shadow to even think of Sonic coming to help him, now that was a nice twist. Then again, one needs to think, would you be that picky on who came to help you when there isn't a thing you can do yourself? I do hope for Shadow's sake that he did gain an ally in that empty hearted structure. Though Im mainly worried for his son's safty as well as Amy's, as she seems to be in danger now as well. All of Earth's hero's now seem to be targeted. Wow, I can't wait to see how this all ends, keep it up!

Oh, and thanks for the mention. Seriously, I was shocked to be noticed at all, heh. If a story really is great, I think it deserves a great review. Also if it inspires one to pick up their desire to write again! In case you or anyone is wondering, my story will be going up soon, duly titled Crimson Twilight. I would be honored if you two would be the first many to read it ^_^ (it isn't the best work, but I do my best to improve)

Keep it coming!,

I'm not going to lie, I liked ARAAT at first, the first few chapters were great. They had a great romantic story and you seemed to keep the characters within the bounds of reality. Then it became more violent and the Sonic raping Amy chapter went a little too far. Why would you rape someone for information, and yes Sonic has shown restrant before. I like you, don't like Sonic as much as other characters but you are very biased. Now with ARAAT2 it seems to have jumped from a rather gritty romance to, total annihilation of every character, with very little story. Anyway that is how I feel and I have given reasons so you can't say I'm spamming.
