This story wasn't bad. It was actually pretty well written. But I do agree with Bleeding Willow about the characterization, especially with Leon. In your fanfiction, he struck me as weepy, childish, and downright weak when his character in the game was the exact opposite. True he was tormented by Sara's death and Mathias, but he's supposed be capable and mentally strong, seeing how he's able to move on from his beloved's death when Mathias couldn't.
I know all your supporters are saying that its your fanfiction and that you can do whatever you want, awhich is true (sort of.) But its one thing to slightly alter a character's personality to make the plot convinient, and another to change it altogether.
You should've put an OOC warning in the beginning. It's just very annoying when writers make up characters and then slap names on them so that it's fanfiction.

OMG! You're back! I'd given up on this story ever being updated, so you can imagine my surprise when I dropped in to see that it had been updated. Twice! XD I'm glad that Richter made an appearance - I've been waiting for him and his reaction to Leon's situation since the beginning, though I'm not sure the way you have him speaking is in line with his character. He still was very entertaining to read, especially his reaction to what Mathias had done to Leon. My fave is stil how Leon and Joachim act towards each other. I found the image of Leon tugging on Joachim's sleeve like a small child would very endearing. I can't wait to see where you're going to go next, though would it be possible for sometime to have a little more about how a) Joachim survived following the events in LOI and b) a bit about he and Walter's relationship? That would be greatly appreciated. Hurry up with the next chapter please, and don't drop the story again for a while, or I shall hunt you down and chain you to your chair until you update! XD

Oh yes, definitely hooked. I've enjoyed the Castlevania series casually and although I'm a little lacking in background information, you do sum it up quite well enough to understand.

I'll be waiting by for another chapter. : ) I do wonder how Richter is going to feel about a descendant of his having loud, wild sex so close by. I'm betting poor Leon IS an incubus isn't he.

I'm confused, are Dracula and Mathias Cronqvist two different people, instead of being the same person like in the games?

I'm glad to see that you've returned to this poor fic, giving it updates! Let me just say that I am definately a fan of this- the pairing makes me drool, and your writing and prose makes me terribly enamored with this fic. hope there's more to come, maybe even sooner updates >_>

Nice! I'm stoked about the explanation on the whip...I'm seriously going to have to buy this game now, what an interesting background! Poor Leon, that must be freaky seeing one of your descendants who seems to have himself together a little better that he does, he seems so naive and vulnerable but no doubt it's because he is...being turned into a vampire would probably have that effect lol. Anyway, really enjoyable, I loved the little injections of humour too. Can't wait for more :D

wow..oh man, how brilliant is this? I love it, i love the struggle with his beliefs in God, I love the variations of demons/sucubi/incubi...the whip? I'd love to know a bit more about that and how Sara was tied in with it since I haven't played the game, I love it that he can weild Holy attacks when as a vampire, he should burn shouldn't he? I. Can. Not. Wait. to find out what he is. Brilliant, seriously. This story stands alone. I have it bookmarked and will eagerly await updates. Just magic! What a find!
