Oh, wow. Oh, man.
How could you do that to him? After building up this intense, emotionally invested journey, *how* could you do that to Ridley? This is a phenomenal story but that downer ending *really* rips at the heart strings, it's just too cruel to lead us down this fantastic if violent path and then *BAM!* you kill off his chance living the rest of his life in joy with Samus.
Guess the moral of the story is... make the right choice while you have the chance, 'cause if you don't, you never know where the wrong one will take you.

Oh dear god.
There is no way I could possibly describe the feelings that went through me as I read this story. It is truly a masterpiece! Your skill at writing fanfiction, and fiction in general, is glorious and sparkling, and I'm not just saying that. For example, when Samus and Houston were getting married, there was a line that read: "Saying 'I do' at a wedding with Samus was one of his biggest fantasies. He never thought it would turn out to be his worst nightmare." And later, right at the sad, sad end, there was the line: "Samus dying was one of his biggest nightmares. He never thought it would turn out to be the happiest moment in his life."

This has to be the bes one-shot I have ever read. I loved it! Though I was a little confused by how Ridley was built meaning was he humanoid dragon or just dragon like in the metroid games. Also thought he was a bit of a pussy in some parts when he started crying, but all in all really liked this story, ecspesialy the part where Ridley tortures Houston. Oh Yeah!

I'm not a true Metroid fan but I think I should comment on this story. I too felt like crying while I read it. It kept me anticipating that something good was going to happen, but it never came to be. I also like the way you included humor as well as dark scenes.

I actually enjoyed this story, wasn't the greatest abundance of originality, nor did it really go along with much of the metriod series, but, it was very interesting and deep. A definate holding nothing back love story, which adds a bit of flavor. Well written, lightly funny, kept you reading, and had a good ending. Good job.
