Yay! Keep writing, that makes me happy! I went to your homepage (and added it to favorties right away ^.^) and read slaughter, then I came here and read it again. So now I'm going to review because I think that I've read the story enough times to say a few things about it. First of all: Good job. I really liked it that you went away from the angst (although your angst IS DELICIOUS) and decided to write something more... happy? Anyway, your Kain was great and the way you described his awakening prior to Raziel's was stunning. I could actually feel what you meant with that, and how scared and angry Kain must have been. The short memory sequence was wonderful, it gave us a little bit more insight in how your Kain is at the moment, so we realize when he starts to change. Your description of Raziel was very contradicting, on one side it's this cute and sweet cuddly flegling, and on the other he doesn't have seeing eyes in the beginning which is a bit disturbing, but absolutley wonderful for the atmosphere of the story.
Other than that, I just wanted to say something to 'Smooth'. I read on your homepage that it's the most read story and I just wanted to say why I think that is (I know! I gotta give my *hit to everything... forgive me...) To begin with, the plot is very nice and easy to follow. The constant switch between Romantic and Angst would make any true fangirl sob along and Kain is absolutley... perfect? But what really makes it such an epic story, is the your writing style. The switching between present and past, the transition between the memory and the nightmare and the way your took the text and scenes so effortlessly from Blood Omen 2 and managed them into your story, without hurting the actual game at all. I love to read and write myself, and I am very impressed with everything you have done so far. Please keep writing and be sure that if you do, you'll always have a fan in me ^.^
