Excellent fic. That sentence also caught my attention while I was playing the game, and it was cool to read an elaboration of it. Grade A stuff.

You really should have put a spoiler warning on this. I just got through brookhaven and this story spoiled a serious revelation. Even if it may just be in your head, it still counts. ^^; Anyway, other than that, great story. Interpreting side-hints that aren't e cae cannon is one of the best ways to creat amazing stories, and your descriptions of heather's mental state were perfect.

The monsters didn't fuck her or anything?
How about her raping a monster? The description you gave the monster she clubbed makes me think of the numb body monster(s).
They kinda wilt when they die, like a spent erection. She should've raped it...or at least killed the cops, I can't believe Heather died. This is almost as bad as Harry dying.
